Turkish Airlines Became the Official Gold Sponsor of Program for Advanced Leadership and Management (PALM7)

Madinah (May 2nd , 2015) – Turkish Airlines, as a part of its efforts to support knowledge dissemination in a green and ecofriendly working environment, became the official Gold Sponsor of Program for Advanced Leadership and Management (PALM 7) organized by Madinah Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (MILE) from 17 April 2015 to 30 April, 2015.

As a Gold sponsor, Turkish Airlines fully supported MILE to reduce its carbon imprint on the environment. Turkish Airlines distributed latest Samsung Tablets to more than 100 delegates, helping MILE to create a paperless environment during the program. Participants and speakers could access all the study material including presentations, lectures, case studies and images from their tablets. Thus, MILE and Turkish Airlines joined hands to run a fully digital and ecofriendly program and considerably cut on wastes and overconsumption of paper as compared to previous programs organized by MILE. Turkish Airlines also provided free return air tickets to all the program speakers to and from Madinah. This was not the first time that Turkish Airlines patronized the Program for Advanced Leadership and Management (PALM 7). It has been sponsoring PALM for more than two years now. However, this was the first occasion that Turkish Airlines supported PALM as an official Gold Sponsor which is indeed a matter of great pleasure for all stakeholders involved. Mr. Assem Rayan, the Marketing Manager of Turkish Airlines, also distributed precious gold plated souvenirs to both the program delegates and the speakers. This was an attempt on part of Turkish Airlines to emphasize its dedication to the cause of supporting executive education in the Middle East, establishment of ecofriendly working conditions and reduced carbon imprint on environment. Mr. Ibrahim, the General Manager of Turkish Airline in Madinah Al Munawarah, distributed the awards and certificates during the graduation ceremony to attendees who successfully completed the program. Mr. Ibrahim was also the driving force which made this collaboration possible and provided his full support to the MILE throughout the duration of the program. Finally, the Program for Advanced Leadership and Management turned out to be a highly successful leadership event, duly sponsored through an unparalleled support of Turkish Airlines.
