Professor Dr. Reinhard Riedl studied engineering mathematics at Johannes Kepler University Linz and received a PhD in pure mathematics from the University of Zurich. He was visiting associate professor for High Speed Computing at the University of Rostock and visiting full professor for Distributed Systems & Communication at the University of Zurich. Since 2006 he is a research professor for Public Management & E-Government at Berne University of Applied Sciences. He is head of the Management Research Institute. In addition, he serves on the board of directors at Luchsinger Mathematics AG and he is a frequent consultant for European Union research and development programs.
